Thank the W3C! Ashcroft is absolutely not good for the country. I have a feeling I won’t like the replacement, but hopefully he or she is less…Ashcroftian.

to his credit, he didn't pass the patriot act, he just enforced it, which is what his job is.

Yeah, defended the unconstitutional parts!

I agree with Tak, we probably won't like his replacement much, but atleast he won't have lost to a dead guy!

I am watching a Nightline report about Ashcroft right now. He seems like a pretty good man to me. Not perfect, mind you, but nobody's perfect.

It's his interpritation of the things he's suppose to enforce and how he uses his power that I have a problem with.. I don't know much about the mans personal life I just know I strongly disagree with his political views.
