what a man really wants? it's kind of funny all the things to do with sex you see on Tv and in the media. it's just like you can't get enough of it. is that what every guy wants maybe on some level but thats not the only thing. i'm not some guy thats gets asll mushy not at all. but come on it's like the one thing thats always at the back of your mind is will we get lucky today or is that person cheacking me out. i know that girls for the most part can get a guy to do what they want with the thought in the guys mind of possably getting some if they do this for her but what about understanding women it's one of those great things that might never be solved. give me your thought on it please!

I find it rediculous how the media promotes sex so much and it's "cool to have sex and/or have a girl friend".

I eventually want to get married, but in the meantime, I don't want to have sex and I don't even have thoughts about how fun it will be once I get married. I just enjoy the other things in life.

Besides I don't have time to get drunk, find a girl, have sex and wake up the next morning and don't know what happened, when I could be in the safety of my own home and writing a cool php script or something.

That does not make sense. Gays like sex even more since they want to have sex with other guys. I have no clue how that works and I rather not find out.

It has to do with maturity that I'm not a sex animal. People who think only of sex and porn are immature and have no ability to control their hormones, and most of the time are desprate for a girl but can't get one.

I don't think gay people like sex more because they have sex with other gay people... that just doesn't make any sense red.

I would say that your assesment of people who like sex alot are based on popular belief and to some extent it is true that in a lot of cases they are just deprived in some way. I however will say that I LOVE sex and I love porn and pretty much anything in that genre' I however don't find myself immature or desperate. The fact is that there is a broad range of people in all sexual orientations and appriciations who have a broad range of sexual needs and desires. To believe that the desires themselves are caused by the orientation is simply inccorect and ill informed they are mearly markers upon a much larger and cohesivly important track.

To speak to the origional topic the media gives the public what they want. some people get the idea that it's engenieered to degrade and corrupt the youth. I however believe that the youth is degraded and corrupt. I know I was.. hell I stil am.. I like seeing half naked women on tv (at appropriate times) and even whole naked women (at even more appropriate times). The truth is it IS cool to have sex. It is a wonderful experiance that can breed a bevy of emotions and feelings so strong and intense they can drive people to madness. Sex is on TV because people want sex on TV.. people stop watching it.. it'll go away.. I for one will keep right on watching my porn.

Well I'm just glad I don't have that problem. With a tech site, business and college, I simply would not have time for it. And with the disk space required for a decent lenght porno, I can store quite allot of data.

God designed sex to be practiced within the context of marriage. To do so otherwise is sin. Now, there may be disagreements about what things are sins, or even whether sin actually exists, but for someone who believes in the concept of sin, the idea of sex outside of marriage definitely qualifies. The Bible word for it is fornication, and First Corinthians 6:9-10 states "Know ye not that the unrighteous shall not inherit the kingdom of God? Be not deceived: neither fornicators, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor effeminate, nor abusers of themselves with mankind, nor thieves, nor covetous, nor drunkards, nor revilers, nor extortioners, shall inherit the kingdom of God."

What has happened to this thread? It started out as a simple (or not so simple) question about relationships, and it has degenerated into jokes about "repenting" and splooorting and eating nuts. Is this the attitude you people have about sex? That it's just something to be joked about and disrespected. I hope this thread isn't indicative of your attitudes toward relationships in general.

I know, I know, if I don't like what I read, I don't have to visit this thread. I just felt some people went a bit too far.
