i need help somebody help me, does anyone know if i can change tif files into gif or jpg files. the reason is because i have a myspace account and i want to load some pictures up but they only accept gif and jpg files and the ones i want to load or tif files. please somebody answer me back right away. thanks

You should be able to do it from just about any image editing or viewing software?

For instance, just open the tif file and go to file, save as, and for "file type" put jpeg instead of tif. Also, change the extension at the end of your file name to .jpeg.

Irfanview has a nice bulk conversion function that will convert tiffs into just about whatever you want.

Well the program Manadren put up should let you do it, either way.

What OS are you using? If you have XP, for instance, you can do it through the image viewer. See that part that says "copy to"?

Click on that and when the popup comes up, change file type to jpeg and the file name to Picture.jpg. (Substitute "Picture" with whatever you want to name the file)

Thanks for the help. My daughter got the file type changed. Yes, I have two daughters who are members of the forum. Can you believe she actually asked ME for computer help? HAHAHAHAHAHAHA. I sent her here.
