No I doubt I'll ever close this place down, especially because it's a domain name and rather established. Definately someone would snatch this domain if it were to expire.
But if I were to forget about renewal, we have till 2010 to worry about this domain expireing.
Really the only thing I can think of that I could do is merge it with Iceteks, but as it stands I have no plans to do that.

This place has needed a new skin for ages, and IPB skinning is something that makes me want to cry and go jump in a pit of starving wolves.
But during Christmas vacations I want to work on SBBS (I said that last year and I *DID* work on it) so if I do, it should be usable. This will be the main beta test forum for it.
I also have a UO server now, as of today so lot of work to do with it but once all the spawners are set and the website is created for it, I'll be set really.

Ya know what, I actually like the colors of this skin. They are pleasing and easy on the eyes...which is all that really matters. A skin that isn't easy on the eyes is something that would stop me from posting on a forum....which is harsh but....what can ya do...lol. That's why I didn't post on rockypunk...until they changed their skin.

Didn't we do this before? When we made a big deal about changing the skin, but it turned out but nobody liked it, so we had to switch back. Perhaps we should just leave things as they are. I think we can all agree the current skin doesn't suck, and those looking for change just want change for the sake of change.
Perhaps, if we are all so dead set on a new skin, we should first put up some example screenshots first and vote on it.

Everything you said there Manadren is absolutely right. I just want the change simply for a change and not any practical reason. That's why i started to back track a little when i said that this skin is really easy on the eyes etc. But also like you said, if we were to change we should have previews and a vote. Nothing wrong with that right...? Or maybe we should first have a vote on whether or not to post previews to vote on....and maybe even on vote on that....and a vote on that...and a vote on that....
