Since I just can't wait for it to come out anymore, I just figured I'd watch the downloaded version instead, and besides, I get nicer sound that way with bass (higher quality bush speeches).

Just wondering how much of those facts are true, or if they're all true. For example, grounding all flights, but yet flying out Bin Laden's family out of the US?! Or the whole fox news thing with bush winning, when really he did not win. So the whole "florida can't count" thing is not really that... it's that they made it look that way.

The US goverment is one messed up goverment. (good thing the people are not as messed up :D )

In my books, I always thought democracy meant you can elect your own goverment. :nana:

I have heard several stories regarding inaccuracies in the movie. One of them specifically is about the airplanes. Bin Laden's relatives did not leave until after the grounding was over.

Don't fall for everything in that movie, red :P Check your facts before you believe what Moore says.

Moore is to Democrats what Fox News is to Republicans.
Only that Moore is funnier

I noticed that, since he did not mention anything about the positive side of iraq war. Yes in general it was probably an uneeded war, but there was still some good outcome such as getting saddam. And he should of mentioned that Canada helped in the Afghanistan war. :P

Same for bowling for collumbine, all the people he interviewed did not lock their doors. But how many people did he interview that question, since we DO lock our doors in Canada.

I'm STILL waiting for you to show me a republican saying that Fox news is biased to the left :P

(and besides, I wasn't saying Moore was fair and balanced, I was saying that he's just as full of :censored: as fox news :P)

Michael Moore is interesting to listen to but, his opinions should be looked at with a grain of salt (but, the should be looked at). Even in a slanted (he never claimed to be non-bias) documentary there is truth. Spin is just the truth (or somthing like it) put into language that makes it look better for the side speaking.

I haven't seen F911 yet in it's entirety so I can't comment on the content but what I have seen has been true to my knowlage.

I watched about 2/3 of that movie (I stopped when he started showing the carnage of those Iraqi kids...that's a bit much for me), and I was trying to look at it objectively, but I'm not completely sure which of the things he said are true and which aren't. Like Bush's connections with the Bin Ladens, for example. I think the part about flying the Bin Ladens out of the country might be true, though, because I've heard about that from others before. But I'm really not sure. It'd be nice to have a reliable source of information about stuff like that, but I doubt that there is one anywhere.

Of course they flew them out, they were prime targets for racial violence. Also remember that the bin laden family is not Usama bin laden, they have disowned him. They are allies, be it not the most moral allies.

I don't feel he lied really, unless you jump to conclusions, which I'm sure many do. Here are 2 sites, one from Michael Moore defending his points, one from the otherside, fairly partisan.

http://www.michaelmoore.com/warroom/f911notes/

http://www.davekopel.com/Terror/Fiftysix-D...renheit-911.htm

I feel I understand the facts fairly well, if anyone has any questions, I would be more than happy to try to answer them.

I think he just pushed the truth rather then lie, I seen it more in bowling for columbine since all the things said about Canada are true, but exagerated (such as not locking doors, no gun crime etc..) Since sure there's gun crime here too, and people do lock their doors, but way less then the US.

F9/11 left out more important information than Bowling for Columbine, and it's much easier to jump to the incorrect conclusion. Overall, I think the point was that we are the greatest nation on the earth right now, and we have the ability to wage a more intelligent, mature type of warfare where needless casualties are minimumized. We may be the only nation on the face of the earth that has the technology and ability to do it, but we don't. More to Michael Moore's point: it's because Bush is incompetant as a president. I guess you can make your own decision.

I believe Moore.

Now HE is a true patriot in the highest form: instead of waving a flag and yell "SHOOT THOSE TOWELHEADS!" he instead tries to show the American people the truth, so that they may make the right decisions and make America again known as the greatest nation in the world, instead of a killer of innocents and invader of countries.

Also everything he says can be backed up by facts.

"but WW he wants to dishonor soldiers"

NO. IF you REALLY saw F-911 you wouldn't say that.

"WW he hates america"

I already said what he is in my above paragraph.

While I believe the idea of much of what you are saying, Moore is not "a true patriot in the highest form." If he were, instead of talking so much, he'd actually do something. True patriots know that talk is cheap, action is more important, and Moore has had lots of opportunity to make real change, but he has instead taken that time to complain.
A couple of things:
Also everything he says can be backed up by facts.
The problem has been the things he conveniently left out.
instead of waving a flag and yell "SHOOT THOSE TOWELHEADS!"
I wish you would be more realistic, out of the almost 300 million people in America, I have never seen one waving a flag yelling that. Not to say it hasn't happened, but you must think, according to your posts, that it happens all the time...
But overall I agree, he has tried to show the pearls of war and show that we(America) can do better, and must. And that Bush is a complete failure. ( <--- my opinion anyway :D )
