If bus drivers have to open and close the door from inside, how do they come out, and close the door. How do they go back in?

Hmm that could be a possibility. A secret door on the driver side, that only the driver has the key to, and only the driver can go through.

Come to think of it, why don't they do that for planes? Solve the highjack issue completly.

Yeah they could have a secret door ooooooooorrrrrrrrrr there is a button on the outside that can open and close the door.

The answer to your question is one of two things.. the Door on a typical school bus is a lever system and you (atleast on the old models) can push the door shut from the door... If not that then I can only assume that they would close the door using the lever and then use the Emergency Exit and the back of the Bus

There is a key lock by the door that releases the latch and some get in through the back emergency exit.

You don't have to open and close it from the inside, that is where the automatic function is located. If you leave it 'open', you can manually open and close it, this is what they do. When they get off, they just manually close the door and open it when they get back on, I'm always surprised there aren't more people stealing buses, but where are they going to go? I believe many also have a spase for a lock on the outside for when they get off for extended periods of time, such as overnight.

the bus drivers get a button with the bus, kinda like that button that you press thats with your keys that locks and unlocks your car. this one opens/ closes the door.

i simply asked a bus driver,they said they dont shut the doors at all when its back in the bus gararge

With the school buses in my town, you can simply pull open the doors if they're closed and not locked
