The closest we have is crumpets. You want crumpets, fine, but no NUTS

I just realized that this thread is like from 10 years ago or something.

I prefer not to call it old...more like classic. :P

This is the second time while on this forum that I have had to do an internet search to discover the meaning of a food I have never heard of before. The web site I found states "MARMITE has a distinctive savoury taste, unlike anything else. It remains a popular food for all the family, loved equally by the toddler through to the Grandpa."
By the way, the first food I had to look up was poutine.

Poutine is delicious!

Especially with beef and pretzels. J/K That would be Bush's worse nightmare.

Actually, he got all the good looks, so we break about even in the end. It's our little brother that got shafted. :D

Also, I'm just better than GG.

And Bookworm, marmite is an extremely disgusting substance spread on bread, comonly eaten by Aussies, Brits, and apparently Scots.

There is a restaurant where I'm from that spells poutine on it's menu as "poltine". lol. It's so funny. It's like a huge inside joke between me and my girlfriend.
