I have 2 of these old beasts sitting in my basement. I think 1 works and the other one is just for parts. Comes with a tape drive and lots of software. If anyone wants it, just let me know and I will find out the cost to ship it to you.

Man, don't give that piece of classic hardware away. Fire up that beast and play some retro games. I still have a tandy at home that plays old school apple II like games such as wavy navy, lode runner, frogger and nightmare gallery. I wouldn't give that massive hunking piece of machinery away, it's always fun to plug it in and have a go, even with the exceptionally loud beeper music.DOCTOR THUNDER wrote:I have 2 of these old beasts sitting in my basement. Ha, I was the master of wavy navy. I also once got such a high score in Gemstone Warrior that my title was God (before that was the developers' names, haha), then I got so many points that the score display got all messed up.
You don't need to keep that old hardware:

Ya, I know the whole emulator thing but sitting down in the cold basement of my parent's house with it hooked into the vcr with that grey joystick is just too nostalgic. I even have a recreation of the game coded in python by somebody, but gotta have that nostalgic feel.dprantl wrote:Ha, I was the master of wavy navy. Nope, that I don't have. Had a crap load of them though: Frogger, lode runner, dung beetles, beer run, mars cars, wavy navy, nightmare gallery, pacman, alien typhoon, spare change, cavern creatures, dino eggs, vortex, apple dots, watch your language, magic boxes, raise the flags, etc.sliptongue69 wrote:Uh...you don't have the most renowned and best game for Apple II...Oregon Trail...???Seer Death wrote:Man, don't give that piece of classic hardware away. Ahh, Oregon Trail. That brings back memories. I always forded the river, no matter how deep.
