Do you lock your door?

We lock our doors basically any time we leave the house long enough. And we only have one lock, no crazy security thing. Heck we don't even have an alarm, and most people here don't, that I know of.

i always lock my door even when i am in the house. I live in a bad area, my cars has been stolen 3 times and my next door neighbour woke up to find a man standing over her with a knife while 2 others trashed her house.

Seriously? That's crazy.

Here I could leave the door wide open at night and nothing would happen. Only reason we do lock is just in case.

I live in a small town in the midwest, we have our door open all the time (screen door closed to keep out bugs) during the nice weather. I have never felt threatened at all.

(we do have a dog with a scary bark though.....)

i lock most doors i come throught...pure habbit i think an it feels better when im alone at night...at home lol so i dont have to look over my sholder!...plus owen my doggie would eat em...i mean really lol

I typically lock the door whenever I leave and at night. Though I thiankfully live in a neighborhood where you really don't have to. I've never heard of any robberies in this area, except one time a few punk kids went into unlocked cars.
