What are your thoughts on the RNC. Will you watch it and will anything you see influence how you feel.

I'm almost positive it will cause me to hate Republicans even more than I already do.

My thoughts are exactly the same for both the democratic and republican conventions : They are both bullshit cheerleading rallies that make no difference to me at all. Not a Bush fanboy, but I have a looooong list of reasons why I never want to see Kerry in office no matter what is said by either side.

Boy, quite the pecimist aren't we? Are you just pretty much anti-everything? Don't give a damn about the olympics, don't give a damn about politics... Sounds like you don't like talking about much of anything unless it happens to be you.

discussions about me are boring and pointless generally, especially in any kind of online forum. I have always been the 'sit in the shadows quietly, see everything, say nothing' kind of person.

I agree with Cisco. The Rep and Dem cons are just more highly concentrated bullshit sessions with political celebrities trying to sell each respective party's robot.

Everything. I really just hate the way that we've been experiencing the "You're either for us or against us" attitude by this administration and the Republican party for the last 3 1/2 years, and now all of a sudden come convention time the Republicans are this compassionate, all-inclusive, pro-immigrant, tolerant party. It's all empty rhetoric. Arnold simply stuck to pro-American, anti-terrorist themes, which was to be expected, but it all just sounds like it is absolutely void of any meaningful content whatsoever. They all say the same thing, nothing. They simply say whatever they feel needs to be said in order to project an image of unification rather than division. (Yes, all of politics is like this, it's just a bit more of a contradiction for the Republican party)The only truthful thing I heard him say was "If you think that this nation, not the U.N., is the best way to insure democracy in the world, you are a Republican."

Someone prove me wrong, California has the largest GDP in America, maybe California doesn't need help (last time I checked they weren't really 'turning the corner' on their economy though...), but a lot of America does! Overall, America has still lost more jobs than it's made since Bush took office.

He isn't much of either in my opinion. Horrible actor, even worse of a politician.

His speech solidified that for me.
