pest trap.. HELP ME PLEASE

in the board of my computer appears a message saying that my computer is infected and in danger... i had tryed a lot of anti spywares but no one results... recently i had downloaded pest trap... but i can't find the track!!!.. could someone tell me the activation code?? Please it's URGENT!!!

pest trap is not an anti-spyware application, it's spyware pretending to be anti-spyware. My suggestion would be a full fdisk & reinstall of windows, because somethign tells me you've got a lot more spyware on your system than you are aware of, so it's best to start fresh.

A few tips.

1] Stop using Internet Explorer. Get Firefox or Opera.

2] Only download software from companies you can trust, not some random schmuck with a pop-up ad. I'd be willing to bet you were informed about pest trap by a popup from another piece of spyware. You want a spyware remover? Try Lavasoft Adaware, Spybot Search and Destroy, or Microsoft's own Windows Defender.

[Not that I'd install windows defender with the competitive "spyware" it's rumored to detect, but you can be reasonably sure it's a legit spyware cleaner

And whenever you download something, research it first to make sure it's legit and not spyware filled. I personally can normally tell just by the website it's on if it's spyware or not, but I still always check to make sure, if it's a new program I never heard of.

Folow the instructions EXACTLY

You can google for more removal instructions.

Get Spyware Doctor -its a limeted time program. but it will help you remove it.

Go to the Trend-micro site & do an online scan.

Go HERE for a Microsoft online scan that works pretty good.

OR if you're using XP use restore to go back to a date before the infection

It's a major bummer to get this junk out but it can be done.
