Tired of switching between Firefox and Internet Explorer? IE Tab is a Firefox extension that lets you visit your IE-only sites with Firefox. Instead of launching a separate IE window, IE Tab opens the IE-optimized Web pages in a Firefox tab. Firefox is still the default; to visit a site with IE, you need to whitelist it in the Tools menu. IE Tab doesn't support every single Internet Explorer feature--for instance, it doesn't support IE's ActiveX enable/disable settings--but for most Web needs, it works just fine.
Note: The following link takes you to a Mozilla development site, where you can install the extension into your Firefox browser.
Alternatively, if you are looking for this type of functionality, I'd check out the new version of Netscape 8. (http://browser.netscape.com/ns8/) I thought it was decent in how it handled both the IE and Firefox engines, although it comes bundled with a lot of optional crapware.

Are incompatible Web pages that much of a problem? I don’t remember the last time I had to use Internet Explorer to open something.
Viewing the Web site with Internet Explorer is a good way to dodge the problem, but it doesn’t help fix it. A nicely worded e-mail requesting support for alternative browsers would be good. Web developers are more enlightened than they used to be, but some still don’t have a clue.

I’ve heard about that, but I feel safer downloading my updates directly from Microsoft instead of using a third party. I have a desktop shortcut to Windows Update on my administrator account, and it’s really no big deal to click on that every few weeks when I defragment, scan for spyware, etc.

Ewww ASP, I dont know how anyone can like that stuff. I had to modify a script that uses it, it's such ugly coding, and mixes vb and other types of languages, it's inconsitant programing to say the least.

Oh! I forgot about Windows Update. Well, I don’t remember the last time I had to use Internet Explorer for anything other than Windows Update.
