U.S. officials told NBC News on Friday that American airstrikes in Pakistan overnight Thursday were aimed at the No. 2 man in the al-Qaida terror organization — Ayman al-Zawahri.
One official told NBC News that intelligence indicated a strong possibility that Zawahri was in the Pakistani village at the time of the airstrike, but there is no confirmation that he was killed. A senior Pakistani official told the Associated Press the target was a suspected al-Qaida hideout that may have been frequented by high-level operatives, possibly including al-Zawahri.
Pakistani officials say U.S. aircraft, apparently CIA Predator drones, fired as many as 10 missiles at the residential compound.
GEE--I THOUGHT WE WEREN'T IN PAKISTAN!!

I dunno, I'd kind of rather see him suffer in jail. I mean, think of how many people would probably kill him in there.

NOT---WHY?--Just so he can be released some day?--Like the one that shot the Pope??
I DON'T THINK SO
I'd rather see him suffer in HELL
Besides--capitol punishment is VERY Biblical
GOD & the murderers victims are waiting for him.

Saddam is around 68 years old. He'll be in jail for around life. So chances are he'll either die, commit suicide, or somebody we'll punch his face in and render it to dust while he's in jail. He should live each of his last days in fear of the other criminals who think he's vile and want to see him hang. That's just my opinion. If he WERE let out of jail afterwards, assuming his life sentence is 25 years, he'd be around 93. If he's still alive by then, as soon as he gets out he'll be too frail to do anything.

Yeah that's the thing, if they were to put him or any other mass murderer in jail, it should be until death. The justice system is screwed up in that sense, since for life only means 25 years.

Well it seems as if this discussion may be moot
because it's starting to look like we missed him.
But take that guy who shot the Pope for instance.
When he was released he was ordered to report to the Turkish Army as he owed them some time too.
Bare in mind that he shot the pope and murdered a different person and was a-wall.
Needless to say --he failed to report.
So now there's another Palestinian terrorist a foot.
