actually this is an installed Service Pack 3 which is not actually public. This is why I believe I did as well on the browser test with IE as I did with FireFox.

I got this from thehotfix.com, I had posted it once before but this was an upgraded version. I made a self install script as their were like 240? or more individual fixes.

It ran nonstop for 2 hours to install- it's over 300MB.

Microsoft is pissed that this 'unofficial service pack 3' is out. Its been blogged all over the net in the last month.

But they are official Microsoft hotfixes. Some guy at MS is leaking them out. That's why they are peeod.

Included are some of the fixes in which you have to call MS & beg them for.

Also, it added a tab of tools onto MSCONFIG-which is cool.

How SP4? Win 2003?

Oh nice, so they're leaked. gota love that.

No using SP4 for win2k. win2003 is only at SP1, and suposely SP1 causes TONS of issues including security ones. this summer when I worked in IT we avoided it like the plague when setting up a new server.

well,not sure on this one as of yet
not saying there not the right ones but ,
IE7 as it stands or not standing has more hole and needs more patching.
lots more,still in beta ,ill not use it on the computer i run every day .use it on
the beta machine the one that has VISTA on it .not much about it i got good to say either ,it needs a lot also .when it get releast it will need to be patch on top of patch .wish Microsoft would back off and get it right before they turn it out to be sold .but they wont time is money .turn out out half done and patch and do clean up after its out just like XP .
