Got a telemarketer, a bit different this time, a bit more personal then most "your a number and I want you to buy our product". My mom answered and they asked for me. It was a web marketer wanting to sell me google traffic, site optimization services etc... but

1) This is a hobby so I only pay my $20/month on hosting and my one time cost of near a grand for the local test server (which is also used for my business)
2) I dont make near $3,000/year with the site (the cost of this optimization)
3) The money I do have is made using different methods, thus investing it in this site is not a good idea since the money was not made with the site.
4) the site is already optimized, I could possibly optimize it better (for free) myself, just the thing of having time to do it.
5) I have not released anything in almost a year, once I do, traffic will skyrocket again and mostly hit the 200K if more, and Christmas is the peak time usually.

Based on the examples they gave me their service does seem to work well, but it's not a service for us - but for actual ecomerce sites, where people live off their site.

Oh, and funny part is, while talking the phone conversation got cut off somehow, then the phone ringed but it was for my mom, now she's on the phone so they're probably trying to call back.

nope, suprised actually. they were very pushy. the guys all "and if you don't have 3k, just put it on your credit card, you'll make up for it anyway?" ummm, yeah, sure, I'll make 3k+ with this site in less then a year. I dont think so lol, wishful thinking but some company can't bring me from 1200 to 3000 that quick lol.

Most of the stuff they do I can do myself, just the thing of finding the time for it.

yeah it seems like there is never enough time in a day. I almost wish there was 36 hours in a day because i always get all my crap done and then it is like 3 or 4 hours before i have to start the next day hinting that i only get a few hours of sleep

Yeah I wish days had more hours, as long as work/school would be the same amount of hours. :D

Ex: yesterday I wasted a good 4 hours doing home work, and another 4 or so hours the night before, today I still have math to do. :/
