Folding@Home is a computer program that uses spare CPU resources to compute moleculic data for medical use. Lot of new drugs can be discovered through this grid driven application. Since there's a better explaination on the Folding @ Home site check the home page if you want to know more info.
When installing the client, put team number 46938 and your name. Note that if you change your name, the system thinks it's a different user so you loose all your stats, so ensure to pick a name you'll want to keep, and write it down somewhere so you enter the exact same name if you need to do a format.
The nice thing about F@H compared to UD is that it supports linux, so all of us running linux servers can contribute to the team not only with their workstations but with their servers.
This is risk free, it won't harm your PC, and won't slow it down (it only uses unused cycles) so why not join team Iceteks today!
If you have any questions don't hesitate to ask!
