My first impression of this beast in action was pure Awe. Capitalized for enthusiasm. The system looks really sexy even when it's turned off. It has a very sleek design. Portable gaming, portable movies, portable music... What about portable picture gallery? Yep, it has that, too.

I love the quote you used for this topic. That's probably the best way to get people to read it. Now off to re-read it myself. I can't wait!

i aggree with leftnut about dropping and breaking cuz ive lost lots of sony systems
i also aggree with him about nintendo making a more solid product cuz all my nintendo stuff still works like new ..even my original NES wont die and thats how old now
sony addictive? umm almost anything can be addictive if you enjoy it or need it enuff
theres no caffeine or nicotine in the PSP so that just says your dumb DS is not enjoyable enuff
sony is overall a better system to game on and nintendo is targeting kids so in oder to win the parents over also thay need to make it solid and sell at a lower price so you would have to be a fool to put a PSP in a 4 year olds hands... just go out and get yourself a PSP and let your 4 year old keep the DS
my nintendo(s) are rarly used and my sonys have bin played for over 42 hours strait quite a few times and are used on a daily bases so i will go with sony thx
anyways nice job on the review pyro

good luck, bad review
STFU AND GTFO. Seriously. I don't really appreciate you coming in here talking unnecessary, and untrue, bullshit.
1. I am NOT, I repeat, am NOT a fanboy. A fan, yes, not a fanboy though. Shall I show you the difference? It's kind of similar to the whole newb/n00b thing. Sound alike, but they aren't.
Speaking in terms of games and stuff like that, a fan is someone who is a fan of the products. They like what a certain company produces, because in their opinion, it's good.
A fan-boy is a fan of a name. Not a product. They like things because of the name that's on it.
I like Sony because I like their products. Sony always amazes me with the stuff they put out, and I'm looking forward to the PS3. Have a problem with it? Then get out. I bet you didn't even read the review.
2. I'm a fan-boy, right, mhm. I praise Sony and run down anything that isn't Sony, right? That's why throughout that whole review I ran down the DS so badly, didn't I? Idiots.
3. I wouldn't drop my PSP. Why? Because I know how to take care of it enough to make sure it continues to work. What you said was about as dumb as the disk shooting out argument. Don't even make me get into THAT.
Now if you want to come in here and actually give some decent comments, you're more than welcome to.
EDIT: Sorry about that Red, and the rest of the IceTeks members. I just get offended by crap like that real easily. I don't appreciate ignorant, mis-informed butt-fucks.

That's fine you had to defend your point. But if it turns into a flame war any further I'll have to snip it.

if you read his post a 2nd time it looks likes hes the fanboy cuz he didnt do anything but crap on you and the psp and praise the DS
the angle im looking at tho your both in the right but you should try to keep the insults out of the argument
way i see it is sony is for ppl who can take care of there stuff and is way better system to game on cuz it has games like GTA and other games some parents would rather not know about and probly wont let young kids play even
ninteno does get points for being solid but face it most of the games on it ARE for kids like poke-mon and mario? sure mario was good in the days when everything was 8-bit but we grew up and violence is the way now and sony gives us that
anyways just like computers there will always be an IE user out there when you know mozilla/firefox is a better choice and the best way to fight em is to invite em over and flash a few things off that IE (DS) cannot do and thay will switch when thay know how crappy IE (DS) really is
PS: i kinda seen the flames starting and thats why i made the other post to "try" and keep it off that rail b4 it started but i guess it didnt work

Ok, just because you are insecure about yourself doesn't mean we are, as you described, "spotty faced school kids". Oh yes, those are just the BEST people to run a tech site. Mhmm, sure. I'm not spotty faced, or a school kid. Wow, I also don't run this site. Amazing.
The question is, do you even know what an orgasm is? Do you know what the definition of "orgasmic" is? Until you do, shut up. I also HIGHLY doubt you even read the review. Is there a bunch of you guys running around the internet searching for anything to do with the PSP just to say it sucks without any backbone or reason to it? Right. Go grow some pubes and talk to me later.

I don't know what's up with these people. If they don't have anything good to say they should shut up. Sometimes I wonder if I should just disable guest posting to these feedback forms. Constructive critisism is one thing, but no one that gave negative feedback did it in a constructive matter so far.

And people really wonder why I'm so rude on the internet((or in real life for that matter)), or why I'm so tough as a moderator. Because I'm tired of it. People who think they own the internet and anything that isn't their opinion is crap.

No, sound isn't important to me. And my games play loud enough, the biggest problem is MP3s. They don't seem to play loud without the ear plugs. No problem though, normally when listening to an MP3 Player you put headphones on anyways, right? Hell, some MP3 players don't even play sound without headphones((iPod, anyone?)).
So no, I don't see the speaker sound as a flaw, as it doesn't effect my usage of the PSP in the least bit.

Buy a screen protector. I have one that is hard to put on, but I eventually got it good.
You didn't like the PS1?
I loved the Playstation!
Anyways, I seriously just forgot everything I was going to say, so... Have fun with your PSP, as I am with mine.

Just deleted all the crap posts. Next time he comes on he'll have a small suprise, and next time he uses a proxy to post more crap I'll contact his ISP. Even anonymous proxies are not all that anonymous, I can still trace it to his real IP, or check the logs to see if he used his real IP at some point.

Aha, you have come to the right place.
I'm just guessing you have a USB cable or memory stick reader as you are transfering songs. Here's what you might want to try.
First things first, if you have any save files on your stick, copy them to a folder on your computer as a backup. It's a good idea to backup often, as you never know what might happen.
After you do that go ahead and exit USB Connection. Head down to System Settings and find the option Format Memory Stick. This is alot easier than creating the proper folders yourself. After it's done formatting go back to USB Connection. Head to My Computer, and browse to the Removable Storage Device or what it's called on your computer. Click on PSP, and then to MUSIC. Drag any song files into this folder.
Exit USB Connection and head over to the Music option. You should now see your playlist. If it didn't work, I'm not quite sure why. Try taking it back to the store to see if they can help. Maybe trade it in and see if it works on a new PSP.
Hope I was of help.

.MP3 are the only playable music files. The only playable movie files is .MPG4. The pictures have to be .JPG.
Hope I helped.

Becareful, you can run into viruses trying to download music. I'm just using music I already have, my computer doesn't like P2P.

Well as long as you stick to only mp3 downloading you're safe.
Hmm, I should not say that, some p2p programs might have exploits similar to the ones in winxp which allow unauthorize execution of code and all that.
Oh and if you're in the US the big bad riaa can get you, while if you're in Canada, then it's legal.
