I'm installing Ubuntu in VMware just for fun to mess around with it and check it out. Get this, WHILE ITS INSTALLING, I'm rdping into my windows server, and surfing the internet. Yes, while its installing. You get a basic desktop and some various programs, even windows RDP which would come in super handy if you need to get into a windows server but don't have access to a machine that has RDP. Just reboot a random server and put in the disk and you get RDP. You have to actually double click the installer to install it - otherwise its just a live CD, which is cool
I probably could have used the browser from the disc to post, but I just find it awesome that it actually comes with RDP. So my main machine is windows XP, I'm installing ubuntu as a VM in VMware, and from this installation I'm RDPing into a windows box that's in a VM on my server. This is so counter productive, but its fun. I should VNC into another box from here while I'm at it.
