After almost a week of troubleshooting, I finally got my linux server to handle mail properly. I setted up imap with squirrelmail, and wanted spam to go in the spam folder.

Turns out spamassassin was not compatible with procmail so I had to upgrade it, now spam is being sent to the spam folder. To make things better this new version of spamassassin does not screw up spam messages, instead it attaches them, so false positives won't be ruined.

WOOT!!!

My next step is to offer a private spam filtering service, if I can make that work. Basically I would setup the person's pop3 account, and they would open a new pop3 account under an obscure name, which they don't share, so all their mail would go through the server and into the other account. Obviously privacy is an issue, so that's why it would be private. (ex: friends only)
