Invision Power must be loosing money or something

They went from 100% free, to free but pay for support, to not free at all, but unlimited trial, to no trial. All this within about 2-3 months.

They encode it so no one can even see the code. Talk about paranoid for a company that had free as a promise. We won't be upgrading any time soon and when we do it won't be to IPB. It will be to ZB which I need to get off my butt and finish up! Lots to be put into it still. Christmas vacations should be a perfect time to work on it.
As for the encoded version of IPB, I'm sure there's a way to decode it to get the source. You know, just for coding ideas and what not. Suposely somewhere in the source they actually state that they stole code from another script! I did not see it for myself but someone else told me.
It's really sad how this company just went in the pits. They turned in Microsoft. Or Enron.
