In a way I wanted kerry to win to see what he would do in terms of the iraq war, but on the other hand I wanted bush to win since he's christian and was against stuff like partial birth abortion and gays and all that stuff. So if I was american it would of been a hard decision for who to vote.

It would of been hilarious of Nader would of won.

Funny, you seem to have a disdain for the US' policies most of the time, and yet you may of supported Bush, who wanted to screw Canadia more.

I'm not looking for a fight, it's just interesting :P

Haha true, but lately what bush has been doing is more helping Canada, well economicly anyway. He's wasting all his money, so it makes our money worth more. :D

But I'm still mad at him for forgetting to mention Canada when he thank the countries that helped the US in Afghanistan. I won't forget that one!

stick karry and his better way which he did not say what it was..

you worry me if your the normal example of our younger generation.

kerry would have sold out the control of the usa in a heartbeat.

his anti war record and record on rasing taxes would tell you that if you looked at that stuff.

plus anybody that slaps my mom and dad in the face don't deserve my vote, unless it is given with my the toe of my boot.

slapped you say? how you say? by throwing out the medals he was given by them for doing the job he was suspose to do in order to get them. every tax payer back then gave him them medals as their thanks.

the taxpayers did not know (at the time) that he lied to get them.

strong words you say? look at the facts.

in war in nam for 4 months gets 4 purple hearts?

200 men on ship USS Eagle 56 sunk by german sub in world war 2.

most killed in the sinking some died later in the war some died after the war, leaving only 3 crew members alive. it took the government 50 years to give each of them one purple heart medal some 190'ty after they were dead.

Senator Robert Dole shot in the arm by germans lost use of arm. only got one purple heart. and the loss of his arm.

kerry got 4 in only 4 months and he was the commander of the group of men?
(the commander does not go in to the hot spots.)
plus kerry has no visiable injurys from the attacks that he was givin the medals for? he looks like he is walking around normaly to me, there are guys in the VA hospitals with missing arms and legs that only got one purple heart.
there are guys in the VA hospitals that only got one purple heart that have no eyes or half their head.

and kerry got 4? and he never signed the release of the papers that got him them awards so they could be reviewed. sounds kind of fishy to me.

no kerry was not trust worthy and the guys that serverd with him knew that.

believe me i know you can tell really fast who you can trust in battle.
i served not doing battle or any war, (unless you count hondoras) but i was in for the full tour. when you stand guard with people for 9 to 10 or 12 hours shifts.

where they watch your back and you watch theirs you get to know who is the slacker and who is the one doing the work.

kerry was a slacker and it shows.
plus he wanted to go back to the days of when clinton was in office?

clinton was almost impeached if his term had not run out he would have been tossed out. he was a theif (whitewater scandle) and he was a womanizer.

he should have to pay for the trouble he caused. but then he does not have any money in usa banks he put it all in the swiss banks.

kerry wanted to bring that type of government back? (not on my watch.)

you kids really need to start paying attention in history class or watch more learning shows on cable tv, or you will let someone like kerry back in office.

kerry was a bad apple and luckly most the people in the usa knew that.

even the people in france germany and russia realized what kerry as president would mean and decided later in the campaign they did not want him in.

why? because he was going to ask them to send men in to iraq and they dont want to do that.

you kids really need to listen it is not some simple thing picking a person because some one else likes them or they look good is not the way to do it.

theres a old movie that most watch but dont relize the lesson in it.

it is a western. one of clint eastwoods old man with no name westerns made in italy. the title is either "A fistful of dollars " or " For a few dollars more" in the movie he is a stranger in town he see's on one side an english family and on the other side a mexican family and a bar where he is standing right smack in the middle. in one scene he has rented a room / cot in the bar the next morning he is woke up by the two familys causing trouble. the bartender tells him to come to see it, clint gets up and walks to the door fully dressed in boots and with gun and holster on. the bartender asks him if he sleeps that way. clint says "a mans got to be ready for anything"

that is the lesson you got to watch what your doing and be ready for anything.

meaning in the politics you have to do your research and learn as much as you can of the people trying to get your vote.

this i voted for him because my dad did, is a bunch of crap you got a mind of your own use it.

B) i am sorry red went off on a tangent but when something rubs me wrong i go off on it. and kerry rubs me the wrong way. try petting your dog or cat backwards all the time and only backwards they dont like it either :D

I had a long reply, but I realized that, just like your post, it would be a general blanket insult, and I don't want to argue.
Just three points:
1. My parents voted republican. I live in Idaho. Don't feed me bullshit about not thinking for myself.
2. As for corruption, ever think about that NO-BID contract given to Haliburton?
3.I will agree that Kerry wasn't a very appealing candidate, that's for sure, but he was closer to what I agreed with than Bush. Kerry is still for way too much government control but at least he said he'd scale back the Patriot Act and such. Bush, for a republican, sure gave the government a lot more control over our lives.

as you noticed it was a blanket rant :D red knows i go off on things everynow and then. B)

i am really po'ed that people dont check history of people running for office.

i have tried to though and i know it is hard. i guess my anger shoooooould have been aimed at the ones that are to inform us to make it easier to find the info?

but now you see why the saying under my hoss photo is true.
;)

the patriot act is a bit on the edge and is an example of over government.

and the people in the other countrys did not want bush to win but they also did not want to go to iraq which is what kerry was going to ask them to do. so their leaders decided bush would be the better of the two for their safty as he wont ask for their help anymore since they did not give it the first time.

and fance's president was getting money (bribes , kickbacks) from the oil for food money. so was germany and russia!

you gotta look at their reasons for not wanting to act in the war.

they were doing banking business with suddam!!

canada well that is another bucket of worms. we should have taken it over when we fought them after our revoultion from britian :D

i been up there red i seen your country and some of the ways it runs things. :bsod: :stir the pot:

I think we should also take over mexico to stop the companys from the usa that moved to mexico in order to escape our polution laws. and make the companys clean up what they polutied down there. (that would teach them for moving out of country to escape our polution laws. )

maybe we should take over sweden also ?

that way we can get back all the money that was stolen and put in the swiss banks :D <_> :stir the pot: :awesome: :roflmao2:
