Thanks. Well it took lot of work that's for sure. ;) it will be 2 years this December. It only really started picking up after the first year was over. Lately I'm beating a record nearly every month. Last month I got 170,000 page views. According to my logs this month I'll get 160,000 but I have an article I'm working on so once I release it hopefully that will shift towards 170,000 or higher. 2 articles before the end of the month should do it to get another record.

lol, yeah knowing php and html is a good thing that's for sure! the cybervillage is fully custom coded. Havn't added anything to it in a while though. But I've been brainstorming an idea for it, to make it more like a grid type village (like sim city) and make it possible to buy land and build a house or something. The house could be used to store bought items, and to store money, instead of using the bank. It would be possible to break into a house too though. :D

Yep, the hardest part is making it efficient so it's not too hard on the server, but I think I'd do like I do for the home page, it would only get regenerated every 15 minutes, otherwise it would load a static pregenerated document.

Well making the home page static did a big difference I'm sure. There's at least 20 sql queries on there, it's insane! Not to mention the php processing for the news display and all that.

haha you got ripped off. :P They're charging way too much. Heck, it's more expensive then vB which is the Microsoft of bulletin board software.

But don't wait for Zeroboard either sicne I don't guarantee any release date any time soon.

I'm being too demanding on myself though, the 0.1 beta will have almost as much features as IPB.
