Why Opera is better than Mozilla

There are several reasons why I think Opera is better than Mozilla. These reasons are probably all personal, but hey, I can't help that. First and foremost, I like that Opera comes with a lot more features...

Yeah true. Personally I like Mozilla better too. But only thing I don't like about Opera is the ads (takes up room for nothing) and the fact that gifs are choppy, or don't animate at all, or are sometimes too slow or too fast.

Thanks for the article, Robin! It seems more like a general “why Opera is good” article instead of a “why Opera is better than Mozilla” one, but it is still really good.
Mozilla does have IRC software (Chatzilla), but it’s really not user-friendly in my opinion. Mozilla has a pop-up blocker as well.
I could have sworn that you could load bookmarks in the sidebar easily, but I couldn’t find it! I guess I am mixing up Mozilla with Firefox.
As far as security goes, you can compare the Secunia reports of both
Mozilla and
Opera (lastest versions). Both are really good. In the past, Firefox and Mozilla users might have been presented with a naughty extension that could have done some damage if accepted, but since extensions can now only be installed from “trusted” sites by default, I doubt people will see those.
Opera has better CSS2.1 support than Mozilla.

The last paragraph makes me laugh a lot.
>All in all, I don't care if you use Mozilla or Opera. As long as you're not using IE cause it is teh sux0r. Seriously, it will make your penis smaller.
I've just imagined the spam letter:
subj: Enlargement tips! Free! Right now!
You've got a problem? Small size? Loss of erection?
Trash IE, as it is root of your problems!!
Use Mozilla, Opera, Camino, OmniWeb,... or even Lynx, if you are so pervesive
It is proved to add you 3" in size and make it rock solid!
Call us now!
I got a nice mailing list of about 900 addresses I can try that.
J/K that would get me out of this industry pretty quick.

Man, what's with all the disrespect? This is crazy you guys. I keep seeing the word moron and stuff.
Sometime in the 1.x life cycle there will be Firefox downloads that bundle in the most popular extra features.
Do you work for Mozilla? If they are going to start bundling things, they better still keep an empty one. I would rather just download what I want, than have to uninstall the stuff I don't want.
Let's all get along and dance.
........ Except IE users... Go away.
And what's with all the unregisters? Weird.

Yeah let's hope firefox stays "empty" since that's how I like it, I can plugin the things I need.
I just hope it does not come shipped with an ad blocker, that will be evil and be a big impact on the advertising industry. Popup blocker, yes, but not adblocker.
