for those of you that were going to my sites and have at one time or another read my tip for restoring music, i have updated the tip now from what it was.

which was how it was said to be done and the reasons but even though it worked there was somethings that were not right but were part of a rumor that was wrong.
i had it said there that it was wrong for the most part. but even though i could use the tip and have it work proper most did not really grasp it because of the bad parts of the rumor.

So I have updated the tip page to read how i do it. :awesome:

i did add in some general chat to keep it from being a boring lab instruction page. B) my music site then click the button link for the restored songs area. there is the button link for my tips page in the little table.

might aswell enjoy some of the midi files on my site while there :D or try to figure out the password to get into the restored song files and listen to them too.

enjoy the site. :awesome:

I enjoyed the content on the site, though :D
I am curious to know what you used to make the site. If you used the sitebuilder from Angelfire, all is forgiven
(or notepad, that's forgiven too :D)

I make iceteks with notepad... well it's note notepad, but a more advanced text editor that has tabs since I often work with many files at once. Hard to believe when I think about it, the index is like what, 25KB?! lol. So over 25,000 typed characters.

I just know many people's first few endeavors with notepad aren't pretty. Functional, but not pretty. :)

Your site looks interesting. :) I like listening to MIDIs. There’s just something nice about them. Of course, making some music into MIDIs would be a disaster.

Haha yep. That's how I started Beleive it or not one of the first things I learned was tables. since when I first learned html we only learned the basics then moved on to wysiwyg in claris home page but I wanted to learn the code so I studied the code it produced. While allot of people hate tables, I find they are the most crucial part of html and the most efficient way of grouping stuff together and laying it out, especially in dynamic sites like a forum. Tables come from heaven. :angelic:

Speaking of cool sites....
Whatever happened to the possibility that this site was going to get a new skin?
I like this one but something more realistic has a lot of potential. I see ice like what a martial artist would chop threw, or some kind of cryogenic labratory stuff.
O'well, it's probably my overactive mind just going Kaotic again.

I need to wait till I can upgrade the board. They are VERY slow at getting IPB 2.0 out to full production release. And since I'm working on my own board system I'll probably wait till I make mine stable enough, since I won't be very far behind IPB 2.0's release. They are releasing lot of betas lately, but I only go with what is 100% production status. My skinning system will be easier to work with too... less templates. :D

thanks wren and tak for the flowers :D

and the rest of you

you still did not tell me what complaints are about.

so i can only guess you complain about everything.?

as for my first try at a web page that aint it.

i use notepad and frontpage express. for making my pages if you use another browser that did not show it correctly then tell me that and what one you used.

as i only use ie. and it all shows up for me in alignment and proper font sizes.

and the javascripts work.

if you are complaining about the popup ads then speak to the complaint department at angelfire because they put them there not me.

other wise get a pop up window killer.
i use the ems free surfer mark II and i dont get any pop ups any where on the net and if one does get through its the last time it does.

you just got to know what your doing in order to block the javascript pop ups and still get to use java scripts on the web pages.

and i did not read that site link to the SO CALLED web site no no's

because i dont believe in what the book says.

if you look at most the websites on the net they are all white with small black fonts. whats up with that ? that is made for the eye doctors to get more business because the small black fonts are washed out by the white

HEAD LIGHT YOUR FORCED TO LOOK AT ON THEM SITES.

and if your complaining about the different colored fonts because that stupid web site says there wrong too. sorry but that stupid web site is wrong.

if you use the colors on the fonts like i do you can turn you head away from reading long texts on a page and talk to somebody else when you are asked a question then after 5 minutes or so of being away from the screen when you look back at it your mind can see where you left off reading easier because it sees the colors, every bodys mind sees color faster then shapes, it is just that you see it so fast you dont realize it, and that is proven scientifict fact.

now the only things you can aruge to me about are answered so what is wrong with the site.

as i said you dont have a pop up window killer talke to angelfire about the popups.

or get one how long you been on the web? 2 weeks? if so then it is possible you did not know about pop up window killers but if you been on over 6 months then there is no excuse for not knowing about them. as they are advertised in the television commericals for earthlink, and for google. and for yahoo.

so now what is wrong.?
