getting a new cat soon

Like some may know I lost my cat before christmas and it has impacted me greatly. We finally found the perfect kitten and we will pick her up tomorow at the pet store. She is a siamese just like the cat I had before. Still not sure of a name yet though. This cat won't totally replace the other cat, but it will definatly help get over her "Death". That's what bothers me the most, I don't know if she's dead or not, and if she's not, I don't know how she is, if she is in a good home, or a bad home, or still outside somewhere.

Glad to hear the kitten is finding a home.
Maybe you could start a contest to see who can come up with the best cat names. There might not be anything posted that you would like, sometimes you have to live with a pet for a while and the personality of the animal will give you an idea for a good name.

I have a good name!
"Hubert- benevolent dictator of the cosmos!"
That's also my fish's name, but I'm sure he won't mind

Thanks, yeah I`m hoping to one day find out. But hopefully with this new cat I`ll forget. There`s still the slight chance of seeing her in the summer.
I just need to put some kind of screen on my server`s 120mm fan for safety.

We got her earlyer today, I've been playing with her since. She is so cute.
She is about 6 weeks old. She's very playful, but she's also scarry, right now she's behind the couch and does not want to come out. I got her to come out and play, but she went back behind. It will take a few days before she gets used to her new home and owners so we're simply going with the flow

Hey, glad to hear the kitty has arrived.
You might get some pics so we can see her too.
She may act skittish for a while and feels safer behind the sofa at times...new sounds, new smells, etc. I'm sure she will adapt soon with all the attention she's getting.
You will have her spoiled in no time!

My mom both a bunch of toys and she's going crazy with them. She's still scarry, but I think she's slowly getting less scared. The problem is that this house is very noisy, my sister is often here with my 1year old nephew, my mom cleaning etc... but right now things are more calm so she's out more. She has this ball on a spring that moves and she loves it.
I'll have to get some pics soon. When she's out more I'll get a picture.
I don't want to scare her too much with the flash.

Here's some pics. She was not as scared of the flash as I figured, but the sound of the camera made her look at it.

I just had her purr and throw her self on the ground to get petted on the stomac.
She's starting to get used to me now.

Not yet. We don't let her to too far at night because there's wires, and my room is off limits for now because if you've seen my computer it's a real squirrel nest of wires, and those fans could be dangeraus too. I just want to bring her in bed with me though. She's so cute.
She did sleep with my dad though.

Yeah. But once she's older and out of the chewing wire stage, I'll bring her with me in bed (that does not sound right
). She does not seem like she wants to chew anything, but I rather not take a chance. 1) safety and 2) damage.

Yep, too curious sometimes.
This cat is so crazy... she was on the bed, decided to roll and rolled right off of it
She goes upsidedown and does flips and stuff while attacking her toy mice.
