My parants are going out but not me, but my mom bought lot of junk food and rented me movies to watch so at least I'll still have fun.

Change of my plans - my sister and brother inlaw will be picking me up and we'll be going to Casey's (bar and grill restaurant). glad I get to go out

I still don't know why we did not all go somewhere together. Oh well not a big deal really.

Yes, now that you mention it, that would have been a nice family outing but maybe your parents just wanted a night out for themselves. ;)

No, nothing related to the holidays. We have never really done anything special for the new year... I'm just going to work on a few projects I guess. :)

Just got back from eating. For someone with a small apetite I ate lots, an entire nache serving, and it's pretty big at Casey's. :D

2003 was not too bad for me, I hope 2004 will be even better. I do want to push harder to get reviews and such.

I want to learn a lot of PHP and XUL in 2004. Maybe dive into C++ or Java after I feel comfortable with PHP? I'm not entirely sure yet.

I need to get Photoshop loaded and start trying to learn more about it. There's just so many options, it's confusing.

yeah photoshop is quite a powerful program. Most of the graphics in this site are made entirely with photoshop.

I also make my sigs in it. I "take" a picture of a squirrel and mix it with a background and such with the text.

I just finished watching a movie called "willard" it's about a guy who has millions of rats in his house and hates his boss...

His boss dies at the end. <_>

I never realized how cute rats are. :D

Same with me if you replace every Photoshop in your post with The GIMP. :P Most of my art is made in The GIMP. I'm not very artistic, but I'd love to improve over the year... I'll be reading a lot of tutorials! :yo:

I made an avatar*, signature, and wallpaper with The GIMP today. They aren't very good, but I tried! :P They are PNGs with transparency, and with Internet Explorer you won't see the transparency.

EDIT: *I can't upload the avatar here since it's not allowing PNG images. It says I can upload that type, but it won't let me.
EDIT2: I linked to it instead, but how can I size it to be smaller? It shouldn't be 120 x 120. :pissed off:

There should be an option in your editing program to resize the pixels, but I'm not familiar with GIMP. :)

The odd thing is that my avatar is really 100 x 94 pixels, but this board blows it up to 120 x 120. It should look like this. :grade11math:

EDIT: 2 hours left! I am going to keep writing 2003 on my papers.

When you load an avatar here, isn't there an option to set the pixel size before you click browse?

It should not force it to the default size (120^2) so that's kind of weird...

But anyway, happy new year everyone! It's 12:30 right now, and I uploaded a mini flash on the home page, it's staying till tomorow morning. Or afternoon (I naturally wake up around 12:00pm).

I should change my sig too... it will change on every forum I go to in an instant I change one little thing...

So far so good for my new year. I'm broadcasting of a wireless network I set up at my aunt's in Sudbury, and last night was "fon-dueling" (battling with Fondue forks), Trivial Pursuit and Fondue. Today the plan is a game called "Toc", as well as a visit to a place called Ruckers with my cousins (Arcade-type place) and some movies.

Figured I'd test the wireless, so why not come out to IceTeks for a quick visit while on vacation. :)

Anywho, I should see you all in a day or two once I return home.
