I'm trying to load software and I got an error that says, "32 bit setup launcher has encountered a problem and needs to close." Now the CD tray won't open. I had to reboot the first time it happened to remove the CD, is there a way to open it without a restart? Trying to load Photoshop.

You put put a paper clip in the little hole, but is the CD in there? I don't think it's good for the CD (and your safety) to do that when there's a CD inside. Basically what this does is mechanically forces it out. Our clunker downstairs is like that, if there's no CD in the drive, I can press the button all I want but nothing happends, I need to press the button and push the paper clip at the right moment and it ejects to put the CD. If I press it when there's already a CD, then it ejects no problem though.

I rebooted and got it removed. I had some weird stuff going on, did a Housecall scan and found NACHI.A worm. Can't believe Panda did not catch it!

Ouch, hopefully it did not do too much damage. I find housecall to be the best A/V, but it still does not substitute an installed A/V because at least an installed one does real time scan, but it happends that it can't detect one.

get rid of panda if it did not find that one then it might be missing how many others??
but you can run it and another one can't you? if so then leave panda in and go and get avg from grisoft.com get the free one. version 6.
then you will be sure of finding the stuff with one of them,

I've been told it is not recommended to run more than one AV program, as they will conflict with each other, so I just use Housecall as a second opinion.

Yeah it's best not to run two. Same with firewalls. I had 2 firewalls at once with no problems, but it's still not recomended.
