Hey all,

It's a wonderus day up here in Northern Ontario, where IceTeks is located. The city we live in got hit with something like 25cm of snow overnight and we're supposed to get around 10cm more during the day today. This has effectively semi-shutdown our town. I know personally, I get to enjoy a day off because buses aren't running, thus, no school for me. As for Red, well, we'll see if he comes around here at all. I know that our schools are open, but buses aren't running, so it should be interesting to see if Red goes in to his today (Seeing as how close of a proximity to it he is).

Anywho, just felt like sharing my joy.

Somehow it isn't as cold when it snows. It's a psychological thing. Snow is beautiful and comforting, so I guess it's easier for me to ignore the cold during a snowfall.

Our last major icestorm was years ago in my early childhood. I really hope we have another one. We did get snow sort of early. Maybe that's a good sign.

Oh looks like my post was lost in the server move.

Well I went to school as I did not realize there was enough snow for a snow day, and then I had teachers wanting me for allot of things -yearbook teacher needed my help for a deadline tomorow, another teacher needed me to test a college application thing online as today was the day to apply to college/university, then a teacher I had did something for wanted to see it....

After all that it was about lunch time, so I went back home and played Halo then got a call from a customer to go fix a PC, but it's one of those stupid clones so of course none of the stuff worked after the clean install. I was suprised that the video card worked though, but it was because it was not built on. I hate working with propiotory hardware, always the same problems. So they will bring it in. Another customer happy from getting rid of XP and putting 2000. Stupid startup BSOD. Only way around that is to clean install.

Anyway, here's the pics I had posted.

This is the driveway and notice how there's not that much snow, most of the snow is in corners and stuff as what we got is drifting snow. At one point, last year or the year before, that fence was covered completely. I think it was last year...

Er. Interesting comparison. hen was this exactly? What made it so about lunch time so he or she went back home and played Halo then got a call from a customer to go fix a PC but it's one of those stupid clones so of course none of the stuff worked after the clean installWhere were you suprised that the video card worked though but it was because it was not built on?I honestly think you should sit down, take a stress pill,
and calmly think things over. ardon me? The anonymous "they". ne more customer happy from getting rid of XP and putting 2000. know you are but what am I. hat about the other ones? What happened to it?

The backhoe guy went and put all the snow in front. (yes, the driveway got plowed before all pictures!)

This is a piece of equipment we use maybe one or twice a year, but when we need it we are glad we have it.

It's an A/C unit. :D Covered with snow. How ironic.

It's hard to tell as it's drifting snow, but I've seen a few places where it went as high as 2feet such as the drift that was in front of our door, and close to the deck. In average we got about a feet or so of snow. The snow banks are about 6 feet high right now, probably even more, just going by the eye.
