Most of the time I delete spam, but sometimes I actually see something worth trying (no, not viagra...). usually services such as things that can improve hits etc... sometimes if I have nothing to do I figure there's nothing to loose and try it. I don't think none of these have actually been successfull though. Other then that I have never actually been interested in any spam email.

The closest I ever came to actually heeding the message within a piece of spam was during the last presidential election, when I got not only spam, but one with a bloody video in it, fro the republican party. Needless to say I voted democrat
but I was either going to vote gore or nader anyway. But I figured voting Gore was my best chance at not getting Bush elected. Darn that electoral college.

No, I have never been interested in any products or services advertised in spam e-mail.
I don't get much spam though.

I only get lot of spam in my
reliexec@nt.net account, but that's because bitbender subscribed me to spam engines/lists 12 times, he even admited it on his forum, I doubt he knows that I know. I'm making a "all your base" (all your bits) flash animation for fun, it's quite good so far! And he will stay supprised how much stuff I really know that goes on there.
If he ever did it to my iceteks.com emails I'd get his IP quickly and email his ISP though.
I only get spam on my news email but that's because some tech sites don't use BCC when sending their news. Speaking of sending news, I did not make it on slashdot so I think it's safe to send out my mail to the 100+ tech sites for home page posting.

i got my car insurance through a spam email.
it was century 21 insurance.com
i called to complain that they sent me spam, the guy there talked me into letting him give me a quote, and i saved 500.00 on my car insurance!!!!!
plus my coverage is better, it includes towing and uninsured motorist now.
plus i get a 50.00 gas card for each person who signs up and tells them i refered them, 250.00 so far!
not bad for answering a spam email.

That's not bad at all.
Once I was arguing with this guy but it was about one of those "make 1 million dollars per week sitting at your computer" deals.
