I have no clue what happened to my other topic, but this is just to let everyone know we just got moved to a new server about an hour ago.
It seems we went back in time or something. I seriously thought we where Thursday today, and yesterday I thought we were wednesday, and the day before I thought we were Thuesday etc... and today I saw the date on my computer and realized where Wednesday, then I came here, and realize the topic I posted before is gone. This is weird.

A New server. Finally.
So, is it that we're high traffic, or did they just decide to listen to us for once?
Maybe all those errors and downtime will finally stop.

I regularly check their forums since someone started a thread to post in when you're server is down. (funny thing is, it's always the first one on top
) and the host mentioned any high traffic sites to submit a support ticket, and I asked if aprox 2300 page hits per day would be considered enough and they said it would not be a bad idea so I did the ticket. They were actually quite fast to do it. It should have been done last night but it was my fault as I said to wait until I do a backup, then I said "I am not ready to move" but not was suppost to be no
w. Bad typo. I do that one often too. I checked the ticket and noticed it so I just let them know it was a typo and to go ahead.
Now we are on server 5 I believe. strangely, doing a tracert fails. Not sure how it does that but it just times out after some router near the border.

They will never stop, so long is iceteks keeps growing and Invision board runs off MySQL.
Mind you there is a beta PostgreSQL driver, but hardly anyone uses it. I have pgsql but I'd rather stick with what the tech's at ipb forums know.

I doubt this host would want to install something else, and I doubt IB will make a postgresSQL version to start off with. Actually, the way IB is written, it actually would not be that hard as it's based on a "driver" with functions, so the whole code would not change, just the functions themselves.
But mySQL is good, as long as it's a good installation.

Yeah I noticed in IE there's a lot of broken avatars and stuff. But in mozilla broken images don't show so there's a lot of avatars I thought they were just not there.
