Well the time we've been waiting for. The new layout. With last night's extra hour of coding time, I decided to make the layout, and today I spent the day putting it on all the pages, and now it's pretty much done. I don't think I missed any pages. In fact, I got rid of some pages. The about.htm, and the link2us.htm.... I bet those pages got about 100 hits per month, if less. So why waste 5-10 minutes extra changing them. :P

Also made the news archives in one page, instead of the "last 50" then the archives. It still loads fast anyway. In the future I might make it so there's pages, but for now it's just a dumping of all news since the start.

Well I hope you all like the layout, I think it looks great but feel free to comment here. ;)

Looks good Red, but you have a seam showing. ;)

Looks like where you stitched 2 images and they didn't quite line up.

Seems ok at my end. But I did forget to test this in IE though. I noticed the bottom border is white instead of black... but I did not see anywhere where two images don't line up. A while ago I was playing with it though. Is it still doing it? I might need a screen shot to see what I can do.

Weird... looks ok in mozilla and whatever version of IE comes with win2K. I hate how IE is not standard. Not sure what I can do to fix that. Whatever works will probably make it look bad in all other browsers.

Is it doing it everywhere or just the forum?

It's not a problem for me, I just thought everyone was seeing the same thing. :)

I think I know what it is then. IE does not render table backgrounds properly I guess. Since the background there is bigger then the actual table, but I'll just make a smaller version and see if it fixes it. Now that I think of it, I will save on bandwidth in the long run if I cut it properly. B) :internetconnection: :found a AMD64 for cheap:

Fixed. Now it should work. Can't see why not. Let me know the results. :)

You're talking about IE right? Since it works in mozilla, and I just downloaded opera to try it. It works in my version of IE as well. But the shout box does not work in that version. Man IE blows.

Works in opera too. I have not tried linux browsers yet though. I think it's an IE only thing though. But sadly, mostly everyone uses that.

Have no clue then... I don't think it's something that can be fixed. I'll see if I can do something tomorow. I might need to use an if statement and do a browser check so that it uses different code depending on the browser, but what sucks is that so many people fool around with the user agent and it would make it think it's using a different browser and mess up.

Hey wren, is it working now? I changed the image to a background instead. If it still does not work, I just can't fix it. I've tried everything! I hate IE!

Yep, seems fixed now. Using IE at school. Now th eonly thing I might consider fixing is how some forums are not aligned properly, but I think I wont bother since IE is the only browser not capable of rendering good anyway. Half the time it will be different stuff that looks out of place when I hit refresh.
