I just got this in my email:

Dear rsscripts,

Your Tripod website is among our most popular. We know this because it's generating tons of page views! This kind of traffic is a tribute to the content of your site, as well as your self-promotion abilities. That's the good news.

The bad news is that your site may occasionally be unavailable because all that traffic may make your site hit its bandwidth cap.
(then it goes on about upgrading which I bother with)

That site is http://rsscripts.tripod.com which is a side script site I post up my scripts on. I never thought it would get this popular. :)

If I release new scripts more often, it should get more people here. :yo:

not bad man... I think you should release your "security system" as open source since nothing is bullet proof and you might be able to make it alot better if people find problems and help you code things ;)

Might do it, but the only thing is as I add features, it's mostly stuff I only use here. (and too much hard coded paths and stuff too. ) but I'm still leaving the idea open. The UD script seems a bit harder then I figured it would be, but I might go for it once I'm done the C++ one. C++ and php is very similar so once I get the C++ one working, it should not be a problem with php. Only thing is that php is harder to manupulate arrays and this script is mostly what it needs to do. For example, in php I can't go like this:

array[number] and access the character there. But I'm sure I'll find a way around it. I can see the UD script getting pretty popular. I don't I just got all those hits from people searching for the script.

Doesn't it just feel so impersonal when you get an e-mail like that from a machine?

Anyway, this is cool!

If I could help you with the scripts, I would. :P
