I put in my first ad in the paper for the business part of Iceteks.

Right under a story about WMD and a story of some people getting killed.

Oops, I cut it when I croped it. There's no phone number, but there's a link to http://services.iceteks.com. I don't have a business phone line so I can't advertize my number. Normally I'd just do it, but my mom works for the phone company so it's pretty hard to say I didn't know.

95 bucks for 2 days.

It will also show up next friday.

I hope it brings me some customers though. I don't want to realize that I just shot 95 bucks out the window.

It's always good to gain some sort of exposure.
I've been getting more into Print Design (got compliments from the editor of a local paper for how well I put together a program for my school play, quote: "We've had professionally done work that has come through our office and it wasn't as well put together".) if you ever want me to take a crack at creating a print ad for you, just let me know.

That ad should give you some well needed exposure locally, though, so all the best of luck to you.

Yeah I know, I probably could manage to slip it through, but rather not break my ISP's ToS AGAIN. Different department, same company. Later on I'd like to get my own phone line though, but only when I start bringing it the cash enough to pay for it + more. That way I can answer "Iceteks computer services, how can I help you?". Not to mention I could get the phone line in my room, and not worry about the other phone, which is constantly ringing off the hook. We need special heavy duty insulation on the line to prevent a house fire.

My other ad was served today, and it was close to a story about 2 plane crashes so hopefully it will pull attention and that they will see my ad this time. I also made it a bit different. I'll have to post another scan when I get a chance to scan it.

Crap, I can't believe I did that.

Sad part is I made sure I did not have stupid mistakes like that but I let that one slip through.

Oh well, I don't think too many people actually saw this ad. No emails or calls so far.

Don't feel bad about it, Red. Not many people will notice.

This may be a good thing because some people might say something like "Hey! This [s]guy[/s] person has a spelling error in his ad! Come look!". More people to notice the ad...
