Microsoft releases DRM Patch

Download details

Microsofts first step in forcing it's Digital Rights Management initiative on everybody. This patch will allow RM aware applications [i.e. Windows Media Player] to work with Windows Rights Management Services. Supports windows 98SE and up. You can bet I'm in no rush to get this one. The proposition of Microsoft telling me how many times and on what I can listen to my music doesn't exactly strike me as a great new feature...

yea i`m not getting it
about the only thing i get is service packs and not many of them
outside of sp1 for any window os i run . it seems like if you download
a patch to fix one thing then you have about 20 other things that`s messed up
i run a good fire wall and a good antiairus program
screw microsoft updates :pissed off:
