Things have been fishy here lately. I have been working on some scripts, but the effects I have been seing lately are in no way related to it.

Right now the news won't display on the home page. Almost looks like a bad database entry, but I checked and it is fine. I'm working now to fix it.

I have a feeling we have hackers in our hands, they are just not doing obvious damage and are trying to see when they will get caught. I'll leave it to this host since they have access to more logs than I do, only logs I got is that logger script, and it does not log http activity but rather specific page activity...

This might be a tough nut to crack, but every time I say that, I get it opened anyway. This hacker won't be around for long. :N2 attack:

Forgot to mention, the point of this post is if anyone notices ANYTHING on the site that does not seem right, report it asap. Even if you think it's not anything big, report it, I'll check it and if it's nothing to be worried then it's not the end of the world. Seems to be some weird thing going on.

ACH! Leave Iceteks alone!

Red, if I notice anything, I'll tell you. I don't visit the homepage much (sorry...), and I haven't noticed anything different.

Good thing you are experienced in this sort of thing. :)

Yep, walk the plank for sure. here the plank is simple, it's a freezing cold metal section that opens up and dumps the person in liquid nitrogen. Not sure if he'll die of freezing, or drown first. :N2 attack:

There's also a login problem, that I'm really not sure of since I have not experienced it, but it's two users so far so there's something up for sure. The forum part *might* be something that I did, but the rest is not. I was fixing it until my internet suddtently stopped working so all the refreshing that was not working might actually be more of a cache issue and that the net was actually down minutes before. I'm going to go check right now. :)

Yepper. My internet is still going on and off. I wonder if it's a coincidence or if it's related. <_>

I called my isp to ask and they had no clue what happened. I'm probably one of the only customers who noticed since it was at like 1:00 am where it went down completly.

I don't know but something funny is going on there it seems. Is there anything unusual running in the background?

Well I know the old clunker got hit with the funlove virus again. I took it offline until I find out where this virus is coming from. I got my router working again, had to reset it to default. It's two unrelated things as far as I know - my internet - and the forum problems. But now I think the forum problems are fixed now right? Or is there anything unusual when logging in? From my end it seems all ok.

Good to hear. Maybe it turned out to just be some kind of glitch or something. I had to do a little fix in the board's php file, but I doubt that's what fixed it. It was erasing a few spaces.

I haven't had any problems, but I'll keep my eyes open. Next time you have an internet problem, though, I might be able to offer some reference as to whether it was all up or all down, depending, seeing as how we're both on the same ISP and I'm now back in town. :)

Yep, what's weird is that the isp did go down, butit went back up but yet my router was screwed up and I had to reset it. Good thing it's all that it took to fix it though.
