hehe I still need to work on that...
You can add quizzes.
Later on I want to make it so you can do more stuff like change user titles as a joke and stuff. We'd have rules on that though, to not use vulgar language, sexual stuff etc...
I want to look into getting more PM space per member, but I don't think it's possible because of how the database is structured.
If you have any ideas shoot!

A 500 message limit should be enough!Red Squirrel wrote: I want to look into getting more PM space per member, but I don't think it's possible because of how the database is structured.

Yeah I sure hope so. Is that where it's set at? I have not touched these settings since this site is up. loltakahita_tsukino wrote:A 500 message limit should be enough!Red Squirrel wrote: I want to look into getting more PM space per member, but I don't think it's possible because of how the database is structured.

For Ice Aged members, it is 500... At least that is what it is on mine.Red Squirrel wrote:Yeah I sure hope so. Is that where it's set at? I only have one in there! A 10 message limit would be enough for me!

I don't see the need for 500 messages. Just delete the old ones.

If I do get itbucks possible to raise it, I'll probably lower it to like 50 or something. But I think this is a per-member group bassis, so only way itbucks could change it is per member group. I don't think it goes by user. I'll have to examine the database when I get a chance.

hehe yeah. I just grabbed a bunch from one bill gates was "alive" here. I think there's another one in there called "black hole" or something. I forget what I named them all. They are sort of secret accounts with lot of cash. Since I know them I'll rarely take money from them. When there's more features such as gambling I'll probably do it a lot so I can loose some.
Later on I might add a donate feature too.

Well if you have soe extra space on the server, maybe you could put an ITBuck price on sig hosting or something like that?Red Squirrel wrote: hehe I still need to work on that...

Hmm lot of extra space, but bandwidth is the only problem, really. But that would be a good idea. Or maybe even simply file storage or something. I'll think about that one. That's a good idea.manadren wrote:Well if you have soe extra space on the server, maybe you could put an ITBuck price on sig hosting or something like that?Red Squirrel wrote: hehe I still need to work on that...

Sig hosting is a cool idea! But only if you have the resources.

Yep, and it's something I'll check into, and I'll check with my host to see if it's ok. I'll probably have low enough limits though, like not more than 100KB.takahita_tsukino wrote: Sig hosting is a cool idea! But only if you have the resources.
Another service I can have is rotatable sig hosting, something like my sig, but have a easy to use interface that you can configure your sig. Not sure how it would work as for charging though. It would be N itbucks per month but not sure how I'd make it charge per month, probably something I'd do manually. If you don't have enough it goes in the hole but you don't loose the service.
But I still have to check with the host, since I don't think I'm suppost to offer services having to do with the resources. But we have good ideas here.

I don't hink it should be a problem, since you'd not really be chainging for it. And if you limited the sigs to use with only this board, it's more of a feature of the website than a service, kinda like the avatar hosting built into the board.Red Squirrel wrote: But I still have to check with the host, since I don't think I'm suppost to offer services having to do with the resources.
