I ran it on my computer and it found 30 entries, this is a clean install we are talking about! Most of it probably comes from msn plus though since it hijacked mozilla and wiped everything including my email settings. I need to find a way to backup that stuff - did not know it could happen that easly. :o

Yep, I'll tell you another program to run that actually keeps spyware from being loaded on your pc. It is free, just keep it updated. ;)

I've been using it for a few weeks and I am very pleased with it. :awesome:

Make sure you keep your Adaware updated also. B)

Sounds like something hijacked your browser! :o

The free version of adaware has come under fire a little bit recently - as it does look like the program - though maybe not the defiitions - has not ben updated in a long time. As thus, many reccommend spybot instead - I think that's what it's called anyway, but I've never actually used it as I use adaware pro.

I'll have to give that a try. ad-aware does a good job for me though. B)

Why not use them both? :)

A lot of people use them both. With Spybot S&D, just delete what is pre-checked in red. ;)
