Broken Avatar link made my surfing slow!

Post by wldkos »

I just realized that while on Iceteks, my browser would get really slow. It took me about a month to get unlazied and find out why. A simple explanation would be that, I linked my avatar to my Ip address when I first got my server running. Silly me forgot that Ip's change every couple week. Appologies to anyone that experienced slow viewing of threads that I posted in.

Interesting, I never experienced that. I think it's a IE only thing where if something can't be found it slows down everything. Especially with ftp! All I got was a broken link. My IP has not changed for months. Probably because my router is always on.

Opera user here red. you know how it shows you how many images there are on the page and how many are being loaded? I always though that you had a bad url to an image that just wasn't loading. Well anyways roving cowboy, keep using those emoticons!
