Just make up stuff for the information I guess...

As you may know, China blocks some Web sites because knowledge leads to power. There are ways to get past these government firewalls of course, but the average Joe or Jane wouldn't know how.

It's a shame really. :banghead:

Anyway, that link will tell you if your site is accessible in China. I have heard that your site may be blocked in some regions and not others. I don't know if that's true or not. I remember reading something like at this blog. Of course, you wouldn't be blocked in Hong Kong SAR. One country, two systems....

In case you wanted to know:

That site said Iceteks was accessible in the People's Republic of China. B)

Cool! Perhaps you should put something there explaining how to bypass the government firewalls.

What other governments do this sort of thing? I have heard that Saudi Arabia monitors things, but I don't know if anything is blocked.

Those communist.

I should write an article on "easly bypassing china firewalls" and see how long it takes for them to block me. I honestly don't know how though, using a proxy outside of China would probably work, but it depends on how sophisticated the firewall is, as it could easly check the GET request and if it contains the address to block, that it bloks it, as a proxy connection still holds the actual destination address in it.
