You have to be careful with this though, sometimes they give you this long distance dial-in number and you pay more than normal internet. But it's a good deal though..

Yeah....
I don't know if US$20.00 is too much for dial-up, but that's how much we pay. It's very reliable, and it's very fast [for dial-up

I know someone who was paying 40 bucks for dial-up... it turned out they had two accounts, sad part is, they did not seem to care much about it. They probably still have both accounts.
You get get DSL here for that price. Well actually it went up and it's a bit more then $40/month. Forget the exact ammount.

Suposely. I forget where his dad worked but it was a typical 50K/year type of job. I think he's an engeneer or miner or something. I forget.

I checked that $1.00 a month deal and anything over 1 hour is $1.00 per hour. Plus there is a one time set-up fee at $15.00. The only good thing was, you weren't locked in with a contract, so you won't be tied into a deal that doesn't work out for you.

i just found this and put it up i know it is not really the best deal out there. but this is mainly made for lockergnome.
why because lockergnome was and is having trouble getting his liget newsletter to all his subscribers because the isps are using a spam blocker that is blocking all liget newsletters. only a few are smart enough to not use that one or are willing to let his newsletter get through.
so he started this with these people to get an email account set up for everyone that wants his newsletter that is on an isp that is stupid. they can get this email account for a dollar a month and just get his email there.
they that run the place are just trying to offer a cheap deal there also and that is a cheap deal for unlimited when even msn is going for over 22 us dollars a month.
but like wren said if you get the 1 dollar a month plan dont go over the limit or it will be costly.
