Figured I'll make it official!

If you have been a member here for a while (100 posts or more, and still participating) you may be illegible to get deals on PC hardware from IceTeks Services.

Not a huge deal, maybe save like 10 bucks or something, but on 120gig HDDs you could probably save up to 30 bucks, if more. All prices are in Canadian dollars.

Also, this is to help promote this place a little more. :P

Also, this deal is a "per item" basis, so if you are planing to build a computer, you can save yourself almost 100 bucks.

Good news, indeed! :awesome: I know what you mean about shipping to another country. The last time I did that, it turned out to be a big headache!

Yep, and it would probably end up costing ME money. Especially if there's a deal involved.

My prices are a bit high, but to consider the prices of my city, they are all beaten. I'll have to recheck in town the prices though, maybe they went down since last time I checked.

I remember, probably months ago, a 10 gig was 199, and I got a 40 gig for about the same price out of town!

Unfortunately for US residents, this is for Canadian residents only
Why do I have a feeling many people won't be able to do this? :roflmao2: That's cool anyway, Red. :)

I only buy one thing from Canada: Cuban cigars. B) Nope, just kidding! :roflmao2: :roflmao2: I would never touch those nasty things! B)

hey!!!!! I'll convert the money first if you want. I could definately use a 120 gig drive. I am sure there is a way for us loyal americans ( with links to iceteks on their website) to get in on this deal.

I do want to call the tax office to see how it works (since pst is ontario tax, not sure if I still charge for people outside the province) so I'll ask about international shipping as well, maybe when I ship it COD the conversion is done automaticly. But I rethought of that and if I restrict US purchases I'll cut myself lot of profit so I'll get things figured out. :)

I will only ship COD or any other safe method like that. It's more convinient to ship and to receive and it's also more secure.

You will be paying half price if you buy from me from the US, just split those prices and half and there it is in US dollars :P

Depends which you want, I can't really recommend one, to me a HDD is a HDD, as long as it's not an IBM

Seagate EIDE 120GB Ultra ATA100 HD 7200 RPM 8.5MS 3.5LP Barracuda7200.7 Plus for $239
Maxtor 120G 7200 UDMA133 10MS 2M for $269

If you want a specific model that you know just let me know and I can check it up, I only list a little bit of everything, but there’s quite more that I can get.

I can easily give you a $30 discount on both of these 120GB drives. Most other products I can only give a $10 discount otherwise I start making negative profit. :P
I’ll also keep track of this so it’s fair for everyone if ever someone else that complies to the discount wants the same thing.

If anyone else wants something from IceTeks let me know that way I can make one order for cheaper delivery, when shipping gets expensive per item I sometimes have to throw in the difference in the price to make sure I don't loose money, but I don't think that will ever be the case even if it's a single order though. I learned that lesson from the mistake I did with those fans.

Not sure how much it will cost for out of the country shipping, I can probably find out from the shipping company's site. From the supplier to me it’s 7 bucks, so it might be a little bit more out of the country, but I’m sure it won’t be too much.

I just want to inform myself first about outside of country shipping and once everything is ready to roll I'll just email or PM you to confirm that you want to have it and I can order it for you. ;) Not that it takes a rocket scientist to ship something, but I would not want to make a mistake involving taxing. ;)

I just called the tax office today, and unless you live in Ontario, you don't have to pay any taxes if you buy from me, so for most of you, the price displayed is what you pay. (+ shipping to you, there's always pluses of course! :P)

I also setup an international form so officially I now sell worldwide and not just my city. B)

Just to let everyone know I won't be doing deals anymore and won't be selling outside of Canada. This is due to an accident, nobody's fault. Well I could blame the shipping company for screwing up the COD. :biglaugh:

Figured I'd finalize this and make it official so I don't get anyone say "well you said..." :)

Being that this is for Canadians, I would expect to see a little link that says français... :P

Just kidding. :P An Iceteks en français doesn't seem like something that's needed. :handintest:

I was seriously considerating that though, but it would involve remaking the site twice, and everytime I update I'd have to update it twice etc... Too much work to consider that most people understand English. When I go to a site and have the choice of language I usually pick English even though I'm more french. We have been assimilated!
