Actually, since we are talking about music in general, and not computer music (ex: music editing) it could stay in the cool hanging place.

Celine Dion is pretty good too, but you can't really compare both since it's different type of music.

but your all too young it seems to beable to answer this with any real knowlege.

1. Elvis Presley. why because he started the whole rock and roll style of music.

2. Hank Williams Sr. why because he started the whole Country music style.

3. Bill Monroe. why because he started the whole Bluegrass style.

4. the one that started the classical style who ever that was.

5. Bob Wills. why because he started the whole western swing style of music.

6. Susa. why becuase he was the best marching band leader the usa ever had, and he wrote most of the well known marching songs.

7. the guy that invented the fiddle.
8. the guy that invented the guitar.
9. the guy that invented the drums.
10. the guy that invented the piano.

there's just too many people to mention. And it's really hard to pick out any 1 or 10 or 20 because tehre are so many artists who have done so much to contibut to music as we know it, and so many modern artist who have taken those influences to craft new forms of euphonia. But in the interest of not rambling here a few artists I think have transcended the trends in their genres to produce a very unique and evolved sound which continues to evolve....
