Ever Been Hacked?

I only got hacked a few times, and it was when I had my server. Once was an actual damaging hack, the others were hijacks more then anything else.
The damagine hack involved a bunch of people trolling on the server (remember the PC411 board?) and a few decided to trash the database with spyware. I think it was added in the actual cgi file, not posts, it had this spyware that caused popups to keep coming even when off the site, it had installed some active X crap or something. well you know that site we're kicking their butt at the voting? Well it was that site. I had about 10 or so different IPs from that site come to the forum from one of their posts there (hidden forum) and then bang, no more forum.
I had a backup though, and that board was much easier to backup, as it was simply a file database, not SQL.
The other hack attacks where some porn star from china hijacking my mail server to send spam, contacted his isp (chineese) but I doubt they understood my language: English ("what's that?").
Ended up removing that mail server as I did not really have a need for @reliexec.dynu.net addresses.
After these two attacks, security improved big time. Preventive maintenance, but as well as intense after-hack scripts to find out exactly what happened and who did it.
Never been hacked after - only many attempts, including worm attempts, but I never got hit by any worms.
I never had my desktop PC hacked before though. Security is even more high for my network.
Anyone else have interesting hacking stories?
