The stupid sql problem cause the entire forum (the cool hangout place) to dissapear! This is horrible. The last backup was days ago, so if I restore it we will loose all the other posts that were made since then! I spoke the our host about it to see if we can be moved servers. This is freaken rediculous. Sorry about the language, it just pisses me right off. My server was free, and it was better then this, now I'm paying and it's full of problems.

did ya read the fine print that says.

I will be in charge of your forums and if i want to mess them up reguardless if you pay for use of my servers or not. I will mess them up.

other words it is like this.

when one sells severspace it is to make money while messing up others forums doing experiments to the servers.

Well either way I'm so much more happy now! I got it all back!

It was only the forum that was gone - not the posts, so simply putting in the entry fixed it. But I really hope this stops, because this was a fluke.

Also, the host does not let me restore databases anymore. I used the feature, and it just freezes, so if ever we loose the whole thing we'll have to restart.

Why would the host prohibit you from restoring a database?

It's not really that they don't want to, but it just stopped working for some reason. It just keeps acting as if it's uploading but really nothing is happening.

Being on dial-up, it is always slow for me.

Yeah, every day it's slow from around 3:00 to 5:00 I noticed, and it often goes down durring these times. Quite ennoying.

The email server goes down too, so if someone sends me mail, it just get's lost and I never get it. That's bad for business.

A good example is an email I sent to myself (virus I wanted to check headers so I can track it down) and I never got it. The server was probably down again when I sent it.
