I'll have to do an experiment at home on this. It's quite interesting...

Cool.... I don't know though....
Make sure to use pure water if you are going to do the experiment. Also, make sure the containers are identical!
Make sure you put the in the same spot too because certain parts in the freezer are colder than others.
That would be fun.

Yep, I would most likely do it with the ice tray. Too bad I don't have a thermometre since I could measure the temps first. I'll use tap water for both times, or I might use water from the water cooler, and to have it warm I can just boil it. In case the kettle has anything that would contaminate I'll dump the cold water in it for the same ammount a time I'll boil the hot one.
I'm very precise when it comes to these things.
I also want to get myself a nice powerful source of DC and seperate hydrogen and oxegen, like if I can have like 120V DC it would be awsome. Maybe I can add a diode to the wall outlet....

My teacher had some sort of machine thingy for the DC.... It was big! I don't know more because I am not very smart when it comes to these things.

Yeah, we had one too, but it converted it to 3 volts, what a waste LOL. A machine that big and all you get is 3 puny volts.
I once hooked up 3 9V batteries to a motor, boy was it spinning fast. Then I tried it with 120VAC, it was toast.
