Bovine Spongiform Encephalopathy

Federal and provincial agriculture officials have confirmed the presence of one case of bovine spongiform encephalopathy (BSE), commonly known as mad cow disease, on a farm in Alberta.

Nuts have NO cholesterol in them.
No plant foods will EVER have cholesterol in it--only animal products.
Besides, your body makes all the cholesterol you need, so any extra isn't necessary....
Red is right about the fat though. Nuts are high in fat and if you are dieting, don't overdue it!
Just because something is vegan/vegetarian doesn't mean it is low in fat!

I couldn't get the article, but I hope Canada hasn't resorted to mass-slaughtering, as the Poms did over this and foot & mouth! That was completely senseless, slaughtering thousands of perfectly healthy animals
Such a tragic waste!
