I have not been watching much on this subject but it seems they want to legalize pot! I think it's not a good idea, it will just encourage people to go further on.
hat do you all think?

Yeah, I heard about Canada thinking about that.
The US government doesn't like it though.....
I don't really feel like saying my opinions of this because I am not really sure as to what they are.
Seeing other people's opinions may help me.

Actually, I was browsing
that forum and they happened to have the same topic but it was started before. Turns out half the people there are drug addicts.
Even that guy who reported my server. He had this long post on saying he's been doing it for years and blah blah blah.
He's so cool.
lol
I think if they want to discriminalize something, it should be warez, it's a fact, people do it, people live off it and don't get caught, but getting caught ain't funny, instead of wasting time and money on "catching" people they should just legalize it. It's a free country - the right to use the software you want! (like, who can afford stuff like AutoCAD, Photoshop... like seriously lol!)

Warez should NEVER be legalised. It is stealing, period!
It would be stupid to legalise it, and I hope lawmakers have enough sense not to!
As for pot, I don't see why it is not legal when things like alcohol are. Alcohol is responsible for a lot of negative things, but we still have it legalised.

Yeah they should illegalize alcohol, it is actually worse then drugs, usually. Drugs are not chemically addictive as to what they say anyway.
As for warez, what they should do is have a certain limit of how much software companies can charge, because it's riduculous nowadays. Before it used to be like 30 bucks for software and now it's in the thousands. I've seen software more expensive then a car! I think they should do something about that, maybe not legalize warez, but illegalize overcharging or something.
Doh, I sayd legalize by accident for alcohol, I changed it!

Red, I think it would be a good idea to start a separate thread about warez, but I cannot think of something good to say for an opening. Discussing legality and ethics, not where good warez resources are.
Does anyone have any links in connection with this legalising pot topic? I would like to read up on it.
I am sure Fragged One would have some, but I don't think he is a member here.

I don't really see why pot is illegal either... alcohol is more dangerous and that's perfectly legal.
and for a lin, you can always check out norml:

Legalised Pot!
Mind you, look at what else is legal now and wasn't about 30 years ago! The world seems to have gone for the "legalise that which is illegal, but which everyone does anyway"
As an ex-smoker, I once had an encounter with it. Someone lit up a joint and, quite frankly, the smell was enough to put me off trying it!
It's also one of those things with so many different names, such as:
Giggle-Twig, Turbo Lettuce, Mary-Jo-Anna

IMO, it should be legalized for medicinal use only. I understand it helps to alleviate the horrible side effects of chemo therapy for cancer patients.

I know so many people who do pot, I've been around it but never tried it, and from what I've seen it's hightened the concerntration of those I know who do it on a regular basis. As for me, I've been to a few parties, chugged back a few, and man, I don't really like that impairment.
