I finally got a response on a proof for my business card and this is how it will look like, thought I'd share. Basicly, it's a design I made, but they remade it using one ink color (which will also be cheaper).

I had to email them back since they did not put the phone number. Originally I was not going to put it since it's against my ISP's ToS (and that is WAY WORSE then running a server!) but turns out I can use it for that, I just can't advertize in the press or in comercials and stuff, and I can't answer the phone as my business so the phone number will be added. And besides, I would not post that on the internet anyway. :P

The card design is very nice
But i'd make a couple of changes, or is it too late?
I'd change Computer servicing to Computer Service and Repair,
and I'd change web design to Professional Web Services and Design,
and watch the caps. You have lower case where there shouldn't be lower case.
Don't mean to be picky, but I want you to look good :)

. You have lower case where there shouldn't be lower case.
I didn't notice that. I feel sort of dumb... :roflmao2: :roflmao2: :roflmao2:

Anyway, you shouldn't worry over capitalization. Hardly anyone will notice it. :)

Besides, your cards aren't technically "formal", so not capitalizing something is okay. As a matter of fact, it seems to be popular. :banghead: :roflmao2:

I am a Strict Traditionalist when it comes to the English language, so my opinions may be more useful if they are ignored! :roflmao2: :roflmao2: Unfortunately, people are considering things once improper to be proper. :banghead:

It's not exactly too late, but it will delay things. That company is SLOW! That email was in response to my first one, I sent my other card not so long ago!

But thanks for pointing out. This is the current one that I want to be made. It was too cramped to keep it how it was so I put servicing and web design on one line and that top scratch line is the phone number.

It's not that I don't trust you guys, it's that I don't trust the other people that regularly come here...:)

That is my philosophy also. I was just thinking that it was too late, so I told Red that it was no big deal. It isn't really, since most people won't notice it..... B)

But since you can change it, DO IT! :P

The proper way is always the best way to go! B)

Or is it? Help me! :roflmao2: :roflmao2:

I'll see what I can do, adding the caps is nothing but I don't think I can change the text as there's no more room it would be too cramped. :) I'll send a fixed one tomorow with caps.

Yep. He also wanted to make me some kind of deal since he wanted me to fix some PCs so it might end up being free or close to it. It's like 80 bucks for 1000 and I got 500 so it will end up being pretty cheap anyway. :)

A freebie now and then can sometime turn out to be a good thing. If he likes your work, it could be a profitable deal later on. :awesome:

Yep. I'll also mention UD to all of my customers, next thing you know we will be kicking the butt of the ones who make fun of us for being a small team. B)

There's probably a lot of small teams crunching. It doesn't matter as long as we are doing a good dead. :bounce around:

Anyway, Wren is right. It doesn't matter. We are doing someone for a good cause, and every little bit helps.

I wouldn't recommend UD to your customers. I don't know if they would appreciate it. :)

I think they will like it because of the cause. A lot of well known people have died of cancer here in the past years.

I don't know....

People may not understand the purpose of it.... Even after you explain...

No harm, I guess... I just think it may be a little out of place.... :)
