Just noticed the stats - we hit a record of 90 CPU hours! WTG!!!
We're slowly moving on! If we keep going on this fast, we will catch up with our old team! That will be great! (lol there's still a few crunchers on there I think...
)

Not sure. Well most teams have like 100+ members and blow us away like nothing, but this is good for a start I suppose. I think once I start getting some business most people will be interested in joining in. I just need to wait till I get my business cards, then I can give them to people and my parants can do the same at work.
I'm also thinking of getting my school into our team, they run slow pentium 450's but all the power combined (we got like 50+ PCs) will make a big difference! Also, I have connections with someone that works for the school board so ummm, yeah. I'd have to try it at school though and make sure I can make it run as a service since most PCs are on the Novell login box all day.
Then I can get my isp to do the same... another 50 or so PCs. It's just the thing of actually talking to the right person. I just have to mention it's for cancer research and I can't see much organizations saying no.
I don't look at this as big competition, but just to show that site that we are better then them, it would be great to kick their butt real badly. The admin there looks at it as competition. If he want's competition - we'll give it to him. Crunch crunch crunch! *munches on peanuts*

YES!!!
I decided to establish ourselves a long term goal. It won't be easy. To get over 100 thousand points per day, and 100 results per day! WE CAN DO IT!!!
Once there, we can add another 0.

Oh, we are currently making about 785 points per day and return 3.9 results per day. So we have LOTS of work to do, but we can do it! When? let's not go there yet, how about ASAP.

I've had to unplug for the last several nights so I'm not contributing much now...when I get my new system maybe I can make up for lost time.

Yeah most likely. It's saffer to unplug like what you are doing, so don't feel bad if you do.
I really want to get my school into it, but being the end of the year, I'm just thinking it might not be worth doing all that work for a few months, but when I get a chance to ask the princaple I might go for it. If it can simply stay on next year it will be great. If I work there durring the summer I can "accidently" turn on all the computers when cleaning them.

I wasn't either during those storms.
It is ironic because the power NEVER went out....
With all that wind and tornadoes, I would think at least one pole would be knocked down....

and who do you think funds all the anti-smoking truth ads? The tobacco industry is the only industry that actually advertises against itself.
I'm not saying that cigarette companies don't deserve it somewhat, but at the same time, what major corporation doesn't lie, cheat, steal, and otherwise screw over society in general to make a few extra bucks?

We often get power outages durring storms. Once I was working in the windows registry, pressed enter to change the new value, and suddently the whole township lost power.
Coincidence.
I don't know why I was tweaking my computer durring a storm though... I think I had never noticed it.

Just click on the "fight cancer" link where "my controls" and all that is, and you will get a page, and then click join our team and you will get a UD page showing our stats and just click join this team. You might need to log in with your info. Thanks for joining.

Welcome aboard! You will still have your personal points and they will continue to add up, but they will also be added up to the team points. So there's definatly nothing to loose.
