Anything Forums

Ladies and gentlemen, with this post, we have finally hit 4000 topics. Isn't that great? I would like to thank our members for making this possible, as well as Red for conceptualizing this, letting me help in Iceteks and our new mod Tak for coming on to the staff in a time when I am becoming increasingly occupied.

Thank you all, and I look forward to continuing to serve you as an admin and I can't wait until the next 1000 posts are complete!

Yep, we just need to get the word around!

I'm still waiting for google to list the few hundred pages it spidered a few weeks ago. I'm not sure what's taking so long! That should help a lot!

I don't know if Google will help much.

If you find a forum on Google, do you usually join it? I don't. I just read the thread linked at Google and leave.

That's true too though. But some people might actually want to join if they land on a fun enough topic...

Tech sites are hard to advertize because there's so many of them out there.

I also think it will be hard....

We aren't really just a tech site or just a tech forum, however! People can come over here for just about anything, whether it be laughs or computer help!

Yeah, and most of the computer sites are only a forum. Take the ones that hacked us for example, that is plainly a forum with a downloaded portal - made for that forum. Not one line of custom html was actually put into that site. They might of changed a few CSS entires and that's about it. I heard them brag about having "over 100 mods" but maybe that's why there's 150 SQL queries each time you open a page!

I'm thinking of starting a tech webring, and maybe even a link exchange, hopefully that will bring more visitors.
